The Scottish Episcopal Church
The Scottish Episcopal Church (SEC) is an independent province of the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Province has seven diocese, one of the bishops being elected as Primus by the College of Bishops. The present Primus is Most Revd Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray. The SEC is the third largest Christian denomination in Scotland, with around 100,000 adherents. www.scotland.anglican.org
The United Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane has its cathedral in Perth. The diocese roughly covers the old counties of Clackmannanshire, Stirling, Perthshire, Kinross, Fife and part of Angus. Our present bishop is Rt Revd Ian Paton, who was consecrated and installed as Bishop in October 2018. www.standrews.anglican.org
