We are delighted to hear that you have decided to get married and that you are interested in being married at St John’s.

The Service

For us this is the most important part of the day, we want it to be personal to you and Spiritual, there are some fixed parts of it, but we want to work with you to create the right service for you.

Practical Matters

Please note that under Scottish law no wedding can proceed without a Schedule from the Registrar of Marriages.  You must visit the Registrar to arrange this at least a month before the ceremony.

Flowers

We have people in the church who can help with this, and will support you to get what you want in an affordable way.

Video and Photography

Photographs Videos may be taken in the church but this must be discussed with Stuart in advance.  

Summary of Fees

We have no fees for getting married in St John's.

We exist by donation and will gratefully receive what you can afford

If you wish an organist or flowers we would advise on who to approach and they would discuss their fees.

We offer the sacramental rite of marriage to all couples, regardless of sexual orientation.
